street food in Taipei

Fried oyster with egg in their night markets. Don't be fooled by the red sauce which they add on top of the omelette. It's not spicy at all. In fact, it's largely tomato-based.

I love their dumplings aka wo tie and creamy corn soup which is readily available along the streets...

Never miss the Ah Zhong mee sua in taipei cos they're very famous. There's always a long queue in the shop which moves quite fast. Located in xi men ting, turn right at the junction where you see WATSONS

Surprisingly, their western food was pretty good also. The serving's huge and tastes great as well. Here's a chicken cutlet rice, complete with soup and a complimentary cup of chilled red tea.

Baked carbonara pasta with ham and cheese..

One should never miss the beef noodles in taiwan... The noodle's soft (hand-made most of the time) and there's a generous helping of beef tendons and meat.

What's a trip to taiwan without their famous bubble tea??? They even gave extra pearls !!! ha

And their ice dessert...

Street food in taipei was exciting. There was just so much to see, so much to try, so much to experience... It was just so vibrant!

It's no takopachi here... in its place, it's quail egg....

Tried their 'tao huey' with red bean...
