Triple 3 Restaurant

Address: Meritus Mandarin Hotel, 5 Level

Went there for dinner buffet. It's seriously nice... There's a live band even if you linger after 8.30p.m. as that's when the trio come down to each table. Individual requests are entertained even!!! It just feel so relaxing...

Anyway, some of the pictures didn't turn out as good as it looks because of the dim lighting... sorry!

Starter - Salad

There's a wide variety of veggies for us to make our own salad, complemented by at least 5 different salad dressings...

Cold Dish

That's when you are literally spoilt for choices...

Foreground: fresh salmon sashimi

Background (from left): cold mushroom and egg pudding, raw beef (if not, mutton) wrapped with veggie

Raw meat wrapped with veggie

Diced salad in mini glass

Foreground: Sword fish sashimi and salmon sashimi

Background: fresh oysters

Fresh oysters with slices of lemon

Fresh muzzels and oysters

Fresh bamboo clams

I love this!!!!! Salmon paste topped with caviar!!!!! The salmon doesn't taste too rich or salty. The salmon is cooked by the way.

Salad served with cooked prawns..

I couldn't resist the sliced cheese which was displayed next to the soup so i took a slice of bread too.. ha... Love the cheese, which surprisingly isn't too salty even when you eat it by itself.

Main Course

Cooked mussels

Grilled mutton stick. It must be my Silk Road trip where i tasted the most tender mutton ever cos i find this pretty tough.

Even the garlic bread taste different!

Every guest was served a grilled slipper lopster topped with a small portion of rice.

The grilled lopster was served with chopped green and red lantern peppers and a slice of lemon.

Ever tried salmon in pastry? The pastry was soft and surprisingly complemented the taste of salmon. Served with a creamy wine sauce.

Roast pork roll

Baked seafood pot!!! It has a less richer taste (which is good) and contains baked potato and other seafood baked in creamy sauce.

Dessert

Surprise! There's fondue!! I knew there is right from the start but i thought they'll serve each table a stick of assorted fruits and a mini chocolate fondue pot but NO! There's a full fondue fountain at a corner, coupled with 2 large pots of fresh strawberries and mashmellows... aaawwwww!!!! And, on top of that, there's around 10 assorted nuts and candies which you can add onto your self-made fondue dessert!!!
My chocolate-coated strawberry stick, toppled with a sprinkle of white chocolate.
Other condiments: Mini pastry, almond nuts, mini oreo cookies

Now, the real dessert buffet... We are all spolit for choices!

Strawberry tarts

Assorted chocolates even!

Yes... a whole plate full of mini cute desserts..
Front row from left: Dark chocolate, White chocolate, Banana crepe
Middle row from left: Strawberry cake, Pistacho cake
Last row from left: Apple tart, anonymous (can't remember!)
